Sometimes, we want harmony, and serenity in a room. A harmonious room, can be a beautiful thing, but sometimes we crave tension and interest in a room. When we crave interest and spark in a room, the color wheel is a useful tool, helping us make impactful decor decisions. Red pops against a green background. Blue recedes as orange is pulled forward. Yellow-purple is a third combination on the color wheel. You may think it’s an unlikely pair, but it works in many spaces.
Coral is really orange mixed with various shades of pink. Here we continue with the coral theme, but this time with blue. Again it works, because the colors are opposites on the color wheel, and balance the cool and warm tones the eye receives. What do you think of this color combination?
